Air France-KLM to take on budget airlines
22.03.10
Air France-KLM is developing a brand new strategy to tackle budget airlines, CEO Pierre-Henri Gourgeon informed a German magazine in an interview yesterday. He said: 'We are currently working on a new business model for traffic inside Europe. We will restrict the service to what our passengers want and cut back certain services such as counter check-in.'
However the airline would not start charging extra for additional services. He said: 'We will continue to offer a complete product. If we do not, we lose our passengers to easyJet and others.'
