Police post YouTube video of Stansted work
20.05.10
Essex police are using YouTube to publicise the work they carry out at Stansted Airport. A short film has been released on the official police website and is also available on YouTube. The one-minute-38-second video shows how sniffer dogs work at the airport to help officers target money smugglers coming in and out of the country.
A police spokesman said: ‘60,000 passengers pass through Stansted Airport every day. Most board flights for a break in the sun, for business or to visit friends and family, but some have a different motive - to smuggle money out of the country. To stop them Police officers work with airport operator BAA, a financial investigation unit, and sniffer dogs Bob and Archie.’
The video can be found at essex.police.uk.
