Ryanair offer bigger baggage limit - for a bigger fee !

Ryanair is now offering the option of a larger checked baggage allowance of 20kg, up from the standard 15kg. As ever with the 'world's favourite airline' (their words, not ours !), the increased limit comes with an increased fee.
Passengers flying with the airline can now choose between a standard 15kg single checked-in bag allowance, costing £15 online (£20 during July and August), and a new higher 20kg single checked in bag allowance, costing £25 online (£30 during July and August). So much for encouraging its passengers to travel light (the reason Ryanair gave for introducing the baggage fee and relentlessly increasing it).
