Air Asia add KL flights
16.03.10
AirAsia has said that it's going to run extra flights between Stansted Airport and Kuala Lumpur to cope with demand. The low-cost service at present runs seven flights per week, but in July, August, September and December 2010 and January 2011 an additional two flights will be added every week. Flat bed seats will also be launched in the premium section of the plane used to operate the services between London and the Malaysian capital.
Azran Osman-Rani, chief executive of AirAsia, said: ‘We have witnessed heaving demand on the Stansted to Kuala Lumpur route in the face of 2009 being one the hardest years for the aviation industry. In its first year of operation, over 220,000 passengers used the service.'
