Germanwings announce Hanover flights

Stansted is to gain a new route after Germanwings announced that it would set up a new hub in Hanover. The budget airline will operate two flights a day to its sixth base in Germany, which opens on April 29.
Germanwings is to base three aircraft at Hanover-Langenhagen airport, serving 15 destinations across Europe. Spokesman Thomas Winkelmann said: ‘The range of flights that we are offering reflects the needs of leisure and business travellers in or passing through Lower Saxony.’
