Cancer charity benefits from Stansted business event

The Macmillan Cancer charity received a boost after businesses raised £1000 at a networking event held by Stansted. Those attending the airport’s annual 'Meet the Buyer' event donated £750 to Macmillan Cancer support - and the airport rounded the figure up to £1000.
Claire Bidwell from Macmillan Cancer Support said: ‘We’d like to say a big thank you to the Stansted Airport team and their suppliers for the donation. This £1000 will be used to support our local Macmillan community nursing team, who visit people in their homes from Dunmow to Saffron Walden.'
