BAA has given signed a contract with Brandspace for the company to manage all experiential activity at Heathrow and Stansted. The 8 year deal will see Brandspace market the airports' promotional sites to brands. A further deal with the BAA owned Heathrow Express allows the agency to market on-train brand experiences as well as promotional sites in ticket concourses for the busy airport link.
A spokesman for Brandspace said: ‘This contract means we can offer brands the opportunity to engage with audiences in a relaxed environment where they have the time and inclination to interact. Each year over 89 million people pass through Heathrow and Stansted, with on average 2.5 hours of 'dwell time' available to engage in brand activity.'
