Ryanair Boeing deal looking more likely
08.12.09
Ryanair is 'unlikely' to reach a deal with Boeing on new aircraft orders because the US plane maker wants to change the delivery conditions, Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said today. But it is going to happen before Christmas really!
Mr O'Leary told Reuters: ‘We've now pretty much reached agreement on price, but the deal is unlikely to take place because now they want to go back and change delivery conditions. Unless they change their position over the next week, the deal is off.'
Less saber rattling than previous statements, which seem to mean a deal is close.
