Ryanair passengers up 9 percent

Ryanair reported passengers up 9 percent in January to 4.44m. Its load factor, a measure of passengers to available seats, rose by 1 percentage point to 70 percent.
In the rolling 12 months to the end of January the airline carried 65.6m passengers, with an average load factor of 82 percent.
